CSR ACTIVITIES – EMPLOYEE WELFARE

  • At SCI, we believe that corporate social responsibilities go beyond the financial, to non-financial areas such as employee welfare and nation building. Conducting business ethically is central to our philosophy.

  • Our commitment to society is an important part of our value system. We are making constant endeavours to bring improvements in the quality of life of underprivileged communities, especially our security guards, supervisors and their families, by supporting a few socio-economic, educational and health initiatives activities.

  • Employee welfare policy is predominantly designed to improve the working conditions of the workers (security guards, supervisors, gunman and in-charge), to provide social security, raise their standard of living and change their way of thinking towards a security company.

  • This policy is applicable to all the employees of the organization irrespective of whether the employee or worker is a new joinee or not.


The Employee Welfare fund is utilized by the workers for:

  • Maternity Benefits: Grant of Rs. 500/- per delivery to a female of the worker (for first delivery only) on presentation of the receipt.

  • Family Welfare: Monetary incentive of Rs. 300/- per head to the workers for undergoing sterilization on presentation of the receipt.

  • Marriage: Financial assistance of Rs. 2500/- is given to each worker for the marriage of maximum of his one daughter only after presenting the required documents. Daughter should be in the blood relation only and in any other case claim from the employee is not considered.

  • Funeral expenses: Rs. 1000/- is given to the worker only on funeral of his mother/ father after presenting the death certificate.

  • Minor surgery: Rs. 3000/- is given to deceased worker or his family only once in the life time of the job on presenting the surgery certificate.

  • Education Scholarship: Scholarship is awarded to the children of the workers studying from class – I to XII ranging from Rs. 250/- to Rs. 5000/- depending upon their IQ level. Maximum of 3 students per annum are awarded with scholarship certificate.

  • Every unit is provided with provision for celebration of two national festivals ranging from a minimum of Rs. 500/- to a maximum of Rs. 3000/- depending upon the unit size.

  • An advance token money maximum of Rs. 1000/- or less are provided to the worker on site at the time of joining the organization if it is found that the worker lacks a single penny to fulfill the basic necessities like food, water & shelter and the amount will be adjusted in the next month salary.

  • Annual performance award are given to employee as per his performance metric chart designed by the company.

  • Organizing blood donation camp or health camp once in a year at every unit for the betterment of the life of the worker.

  • Tree plantation programme for preserving eco-friendly environment at various locations.

  • Donation of T.V, furniture, computer, etc. at work place depending upon the availability of the fund.

  • Grant-in-aid for the training and development of the employee or worker to influence their personal behavior towards the work, understanding culture of organization and uplifting of their individuals performance.

  • Retirement bonus is paid to the workers or employees only if the working period is more than 5 years or more.
